Safari in Tanzania

Itinerary

 

May 18th - 19th: Serengeti

Charter flight from Mwanza to the Serengeti. Potential to see the migrating wilder-beats on the expansive Serengeti plains. Wake up for an early morning hot air balloon adventure.

Kleins Camp 2 nights.

May 20th - 21st : Northern Rift of Tanzania

The helicopter arrives to collect you from Kleins camp, to fly over the Northern rift of Tanzania. Dropping down over Lake Natron, and flying over the coolest active volcano in the world, Ol Doinyo Lengai. Finally you will reach the Ngorongoro crater, where you will stay for the next two nights.

The following day explore the crater by car before heading out to Lake Manyara and Lake Eyasi in the evening by helicopter.

Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, 2 nights.

May 22nd - 23rd: Mt Kilimanjaro and Mt Meru

On route to your final lodge, stop to visit the Hadzabe tribe. Spend the day with the Hadza, as they show you their traditional methods of hunting. The final day will be spent with an early morning scenic flight over Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru before returning to your lodge. A car will transfer you to the airport.

Ngare Sero, 1 night.

18th- 19th May: SERENGETI

The Serengeti National Park is a World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife: over 2 million ungulates, 4000 lions, 1000 leopard, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species inhabit an area close to 15,000 square kilometers in size.
