SAFARI IN KENYA
ITINERARY
16th January : Nairobi
Arrive into Jomo Kenyatta International airport where you will be met be a Tradewinds representative who will help with customs and find your luagge. Meet a Four Points Vehicle to take you to your hotel for the night.

17th - 19th January: Lewa Wildlife Conservancy
After breakfast a taxi will arrive to take you to Wilson Airport, here you will fly with Safarilink/Air Kenya to the Lewa Downs airstrip.
A guide and safari vehicle will meet you at the airstrip to take you to your lodge for the next three nights. Spend the next few days out on safari and settling in to life in the bush. Activities include game drives, guided walks and tracking for rhinos.
Lewa Safari Camp, 3 nights.
20th - 21st January: Loisaba Conservancy
With a packed picnic breakfast set off by helicopter over Laikipia, land at Pride Rock for your breakfast overlooking the Borana conservancy. Continue on over the plains land spotting wildlife from above, until you reach Loisaba conservancy.
Game drives and exploration of the conservancy, Loisaba is famed for their wild dog and black leopard which are very rare sightings.
Lodo Springs or Star Beds, 2 nights.
22nd - 24th January: Lamu Archipelago
Fly by scheduled flight from Loisaba to Wilson, here connect on to another scheduled flight to Lamu. Collection from the airport by boat to take you across to Manda Bay. Spend three nights relaxing and enjoying the water sports on offer.

25th January: Home
Fly by scheduled flight to Wilson Airport, taxi to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight home.

LEWA CONSERVANCY
There is no landscape in Kenya, outside of National Parks, more crucial for the future of elephants than Laikipia. 7,000 elephants are protected by private and communal landowners and a network of inspiring conservation organizations. Lewa Wildlife Conservancy is home to some of the most endangered species including the grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe and white and black rhino.
LEWA SAFARI CAMP
Featuring large tented bedrooms with verandahs and full en-suite bathrooms, Lewa Safari camp offers authentic comfort for its visitors; cozy log fires in the sitting room are perfect for relaxing after a day in the Conservancy.

LOISABA CONSERVANCY
Loisaba is a 57,000 acre conservancy within Laikipia County that is owned by Loisaba Community Trust, a Kenyan Trust incorporated under the Perpetual Succession of Trustees Act, and is committed to wildlife and ecological conservation. The Loisaba mission is to protect and enhance critical wildlife diversity, abundance and habitat in the Loisaba landscape, which sits on the western edge of one of Kenya’s most important elephant movement corridors, while concurrently supporting sustainable livestock production and improving the lives of its neighbouring people.
LODO SPRINGS
Eight generously spacious and airy en-suite rooms are custom-designed and bathed in natural light with large floor-to-ceiling doors and windows, polished wood floors, stylish up-cycled antique and vintage furniture in warm hues recalling the surrounding landscape and wide verandas offering breath taking views overlooking the Laikipia plains below.
STAR BEDS
Unique to Loisaba, the Star Beds are a truly memorable African experience. Handcrafted four-poster beds with wheels, are rolled out onto raised wooden platforms so that guests sleep under the endless African night sky. The open-to-air bathrooms are designed around the rocky features of the kopje with a plumbed shower offering piping hot solar-heated water, a basin and flush loo, as well as beautiful views over the valley below.

MANDA ISLAND
A charming boutique hotel nestled on the northern tip of Manda Island within Kenya's Lamu archipelago. This privately owned sanctuary offers an unspoiled, secluded escape where you can unwind, surrounded by palm-thatched cottages and open living spaces. Experience the blend of bush and beach with pristine white sands, coconut palms, Doum palms, Acacia Tortilis, and diverse wildlife.
MANDA BAY
There are 11 beachfront rooms, situated right on the seawall, offering the closest access to the water and beach at low tide. These spacious rooms feature 7-foot beds, and en-suite bathrooms. Wake up and walk straight into the sea, then head for breakfast before enjoying the many activities on offer. As the tide begins to go out, we recommend jumping on paddle boards and floating down through the mangroves. You will often spot turtles on route.
